So many of you know and love our friend Kathleen, known around the internets as mrsbadcrumble.
What you may not know is that she is in the middle of a family emergency. Kathleen’s son and his girlfriend gave birth to a tiny baby boy named Mason this past week. Mason was born at only 25 weeks, and weighed less than two pounds at birth. Thankfully Mason is currently stable and in good hands in NICU.
A tricky situation that would test any family. And yet it gets even trickier: dependents of dependents aren’t covered by insurance, so on top of the medical worries this wonderful family is faced with many questions on how to manage the financial implications of Mason’s premature birth.
Our dear friend has asked for our love, juju and prayers … and we’ve given them freely and happily. But we can do more.
